See the first-ever color movie – from 1901 – update (video)

Update – it has recently come to light that there is some contention as to whether the original film was made in 1901 or 1902. Either way, it remains the oldest known color movie.

Yes, you read that right — & it's not a misprint.  Recently discovered at Britain's National Media Museum in Bradford, the first colour movie ever was made in 1901.  A frame from one of the movies is shown below:
