I have a problem with wired headphones – one or other of them will frequently fall out of an ear. When this happens, the wire typically stops it before it hits the ground, or suffers some other harm.
With this experience, Apple's AirPods look like they would quite quickly suffer a potentially damaging fall &/or be lost. Many stereo Bluetooth headphones are connected, which will prevent this unless the other bud happens to fall out at the same moment.
