Drone to probe Sellafield silos

Sellafield is a nuclear power plant & plutonium production facility.  A problem with nuclear power plant is cleaning up the radioactive mess afterwards.  In this case, expected to cost most of the £73 billion ($US114 billion) which Britain has budgeted for cleaning up nuclear facilities.  This project may be unique amongst nuclear energy projects — maybe it will be completed on budget.

Originally called Windscale, it was renamed Calder Hall due to the infamy which the original name acquired.  Changing the name to Calder Hall  didn't fool anybody, so  Sellafield was next.  This time the authorities realized that changing the name wasn't helping & so Sellafield has remained.
