BYD – world’s biggest EV manufacturer coming to Australia

Initial offering in this country will be their only right-hand-drive product, the E6. Battery is 75 kWh giving a range of 300 km. Price is likely to be around $80,000.
BYD produces the E6 in several 2 & 4 wheel drive variants with power between 75 kW (101 hp) & 200 kW (269 hp). It is unclear which version or versions will be coming to Australia.
Fast charging capability accepts 80% charge in 15 minutes.
