CSIRO discovers method to boost lithium battery performance

Scientists from CSIRO (Commonwealth Science & Industrial Research Organisation) in collaboration with RMIT University (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology) & QUT (Queensland University of technology) have developed a process for pretreating lithium ion battery electrodes which:

● extends battery life

● improves charge efficiency
● reduces risk fire & explosion
