First wearable device from Apple might debut this October

Smartwatches of varying capability are available from a range of manufacturers, including Samsung, Sony, Fitbit, Pebble & Cuckoo. Motorola has its 360 smartwatch scheduled for this northern summer.

True to form, despite widespread speculation, Apple has said nothing about a possible iWatch. Ubergizmo speculates about a release in October:

Google's possible entry, too, has been the source of speculation. They have produced an operating system called Android Wear for wearable devices.
