About the title: its a reference to Who Killed The Electric Car?,  a documentary about the EV1, an electric car produced by General Motors between 1996 & 1999.  All EV1s were were leased to consumers.  As leases came to an end, the vehicles were seized & crushed, despite offers from lessors to purchase.

Update 02 February 2012: Calctimate V2.0.0 is available in the App Store.


Update 01 February 2012: release of version V2.0.0 appears to be in progress (23:05 UTC).  A search in the App Store app on an iPhone finds the app, but an attempt to view more detail results in a "Your request could not be completed", message.  Earlier (~22:00 UTC), V2.0.0 was briefly listed in Updates.
