Apart from the headphone socket, Apple's MacBook 12" has only one port for all i/o, including data & video, plus charging. Even that is the still-uncommon, USB-C.
Most users will require some sort of adapter to expand i/o. Apple has some, but unsurprisingly, they are far from inexpensive.
