Tesla has a proprietary fast charging network, with charging rates between 90 & 125 kW.
Long range electric cars are in the works from GM, Audi, Porsche & others.
Charging facilities for these manufacturers are patchy at best, &/or slow.
To fix “slow”, the CHAdeMO Association will be releasing an amendment to the protocol late this year, & the first 150 kW charging station is planned for 2017.
