Canadian camouflage company claims to have perfected complete invisibility

A product which renders 3D objects invisible by bending light around them has been created by a Canadian company called Hyperstealth. So far, all of the sample images Hyperstealth have provided are mockups for, "security reasons". Not a good sign ...

Can quantum measurements beat classical computers?

A complete quantum computer has not been built to this date. We have seen many of the parts of a quantum computer, which have been built & tested in isolation from one another. Unfortunately, in this guise they have been outperformed by standard computers.

Now, boson sampling technology may be able to tell us if quantum computers will be capable of the hoped for improvement in performance.
