Chris Porritt, Tesla Motors' vice-president of engineering has told Autocar that the upcoming mass market electric saloon (previously called the Model E) will be “realistically” priced against rivals such as the Audi A4 & BMW 3-series.

Australia's Renewable Energy Target (video) - UPDATED
Australia has, for some time, had a Renewable Energy Target (RET) of a minimum of 20% renewable electricity by 2020. [1]
At the national election in September 2013, a coalition of two conservative parties (the larger paradoxically named the, Liberal Party) was elected. Leader of the parliamentary Liberal Party & Prime Minister, Tony Abbott, has at different times described climate change science as, "crap" & something which he takes, "very seriously" [2][3].
The Abbott government has set out to review the RET.
