Faraday Future is another start up promising a Tesla beater. Their “big reveal” at CES 2016 promised much, but revealed a stationary concept car.
Recently they released video of their prototype beating the 0-60 mph time of a Bentley Bentayga, Ferrari 488 GTB, & a Tesla Model X P100D Ludicrous – while quietly ignoring the advantages a prototype has over a production vehicle:
And subsequently, a Tesla Model S P100D:
But there have been a number of disturbing hiccups at Faraday, including finance & key staff jumping ship. They had a lot riding on their CES 2017 presentation, but it didn’t go as well as they would have hoped, including what can very generously be described as, “slight of hand”:
