Adobe Flash has been largely abandoned by mobile devices. As a security measure, some users are uninstalling it from their laptops & desktops. This can present problems viewing videos on some websites.

Some sites, including Netflix & YouTube will present videos in HTML5 to modern browsers.

Some other websites have been updated to present video in non-Flash format to mobile devices, but continue to serve Flash to other devices.
