Nissan develops 10-minute recharging

Update: the vague & even contradictory information linked in this post is clarified in this later post.

Many articles are reporting a new technology which promises 10 minute charging for electric vehicles. Variously, it is described as a new charger, a new type of electrode for lithium ion batteries & a capacitor with improved storage capability.

My guess is the last one: capacitor with improved storage.
