Lead astray — lead exposure in childhood & violent crime

Recently, ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) ran an item about lead & its effect on the brain, particularly developing brains. It has long been known that lead exposure in childhood has a depressing effect on adult IQ. What is new in the programme linked below, is the relationship between lead exposure in childhood, & violent crime.
