Amazing monumental public art from Vancouver – Kickstarter (video)

Kickstarter makes amazing things happen by connecting people with an idea to people who want to support it financially. Total recently passed $US1 billion pledged by 5.7 million people. Projects have included plays, books & hardware. I was a backer of the Pebble smart watch. Very happy with it.

To quote Neil Gaiman, it has "... a sort of weird & lovely magic ..."
