3D-printed Urbee 2 hybrid car is light, strong, & nearing production (video)

The, "diesel engine that can potentially be run on ethanol", is a bit of a puzzle. Ethanol has a very high octane rating. Diesel fuel has a very low octane rating, so that it can be ignited without the need for a spark, by compression alone. Perhaps the idea is a buyer option of either an ethanol or diesel engine.
