The struggle to get a message out — peak oil is real & unconventional sources won't stop it

Peak oil is not about running out of oil. World wide large amounts remain. But that oil is expensive & difficult to get at. Peak oil is essentially about declining rates of extraction. Some time this decade, according to the best estimates, world wide rate of extraction will reach a peak, may plateau, but will ultimately begin to decline. Unconventional sources will not be able to make up for this decline.
