Phone calls not an important feature for smartphone owners

Interesting idea. Obviously people are using smartphones for more than just making calls, that's why it's called a smartphone. At the same time, making & receiving calls remains a core functionality. That's a big part of why the iPhone is more popular than the iPod Touch, despite the higher cost of the iPhone.
