Telia holds Skype hostage, may block VoIP in Sweden

Disturbing development. Having paid for data, it should be up to the user to decide how to use that data.

The underlying problem is that ISPs (both mobile & fixed) rely on customers not using all of the data they have paid for. When customers show signs of using their data allocation, some ISPs seek to restrict data use by charging for some of it a second time. Some ISPs do the same to customers who want to use phones as mobile hotspots. If providers can't provide the data they have contracted to supply, they should at least say so.
